Good Advice
Before I left for Europe I ran into my friend, Debbie Marcantano, who had recently been to the UK with her family. She said that her boys' favorite part of their vacation was visiting Stonehenge with the Special Access Pass. I immediately booked tickets to see this ancient site early in the morning, before any crowds arrived. Our Special Access Pass allowed us to walk up to the stones and wander under, through and around them, inside of the roped off area that most visitors can only circle on a paved walk way. As we drove up the English highway, early in the morning, suddenly the ring of stones came into view. We had watched a BBC documentary about these mysterious stones, so we came well informed and were all excited by the sight.
We spent about a half hour, almost alone, taking pictures, learning a few new details from a security guard, and simply enjoying having one of best known world landmarks almost to ourselves.
Good advice from friends has proven to be invaluable in the success of our trip to Europe.

Special Access Pass! What a great idea! These photos are fabulous, and it looks like the weather has been great for you there at Stonehenge. :)
That's amazing! I remember going with Jenny and it was absolutely packed. You guys are lucky to have gotten it all to yourselves!
What an unforgettable experience! Mom
I remember Stonehenge and also other sites close by that were like Stonehenge but not as dramatic or obvioulsy as iconic. Great memories for the children.
