Good, Good Friday

One of the advantages of Steve's job is that he always gets random holidays like Martin Luther King's Day and Good Friday off to spend with our family. This year, on the Friday before Easter, we took advantage of the warm weather, loaded up the car and went on a family picnic. We spread out our blankets and ate sandwiches from a local deli, played lacrosse and football, and waded in a near by stream.
The kids were so sad when it was finally time to pack up. They were already begging for our next family picnic.

I don't think I've ever seen photos of the woods in your backyard. Beautiful! What a fun Easter egg hunt.

Bicyling and picnics sound like such fun. When we get some consistent warm weather, I think I'll plan a bicycling + picnic outing to Sugarhouse Park.

I love your caption, "Good, Good Friday" and the top picture, with Ezra's huge grin. That is also such a good shot, of Steve with a football under one arm and his cell phone in the other hand.
